Suno's official MCP connector makes songs, covers and mashups right inside your AI assistant. It's a beta with early access for now.

Suno has released an official MCP connector, so you can now make a song right inside a conversation with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Claude Code or Cursor. You describe the track in plain words, work out lyrics and style with your assistant, and Suno builds the finished song. No tab switching.

You can also start from your own sound: upload a voice memo or a loop and turn it into a full track. The connector can make covers, extensions and mashups of songs from your Suno library too. Everything lands in your library right away, and you can add a track to a playlist without leaving the chat.

Setup needs no API key: add a custom connector with the URL https://api.suno.com/mcp in your assistant's settings, sign in to Suno and approve access. It works on every Suno plan, including Free, and songs use your plan's credits. Note that some AI apps only allow custom connectors on paid tiers.

The connector launched on October 28 and is still in beta: access comes through an early access waitlist on Suno's site.

The assistant that used to just write your lyrics now sings them too. Now we wait for everyone to get in.
