EnergyAI Ops

Equipment, energy and maintenance - in one engineer's workspace

EnergyAI Ops brings equipment, energy and maintenance data into one workspace. It connects to existing meters, sensors, SCADA, BMS, DCIM, Excel/CSV files and other data sources. It helps engineers find deviations faster, understand their likely causes, make well-founded decisions and verify the outcome of maintenance work.

EnergyAI Ops does not replace SCADA or BMS - it adds what they lack: shared context, analytics and a clear engineering process.

The data is there. The system isn't.

At most sites, data is scattered across different sources:

  • meter and sensor readings
  • SCADA, BMS, DCIM and EMS
  • maintenance logs
  • equipment manuals and passports
  • Excel spreadsheets
  • contractor reports
  • messages and engineers' own experience

Engineers switch between systems by hand, match readings, hunt for documents and reconstruct equipment history. As a result:

  • deviations are found too late
  • finding the cause takes too long
  • telemetry is disconnected from maintenance history
  • knowledge stays with individual specialists
  • the effect of a repair is rarely checked against data
  • management learns about problems after they happen

From scattered data to clear action

The platform answers the five questions an engineer asks every day:

  1. 01What is happening with the equipment right now?
  2. 02Is this operating mode normal?
  3. 03When and why did the deviation start?
  4. 04What needs to be checked or done?
  5. 05Did the equipment perform better after maintenance?

A deviation is always read in context:

  • the site's operating mode
  • time of day and production schedule
  • weather and temperature
  • equipment history
  • previous repairs
  • current load
  • staff actions

  1. Step 01

    Connect the data

EnergyAI Ops connects to the site's existing infrastructure. No equipment needs to be replaced.

    • electricity meters
    • sensors and controllers
    • SCADA, BMS, DCIM, EMS
    • Modbus RTU/TCP, RS-485
    • APIs, CSV and Excel
    • maintenance logs
  2. Step 02

    Digital equipment passport

Manuals, procedures, specifications and maintenance history become a structured digital passport.

    • type, model, serial number
    • specifications and operating limits
    • normal modes
    • connected meters and channels
    • event, maintenance and repair history
    • documentation and engineers' notes

AI helps extract information from documents, but safety-critical fields are approved by a specialist.

  3. Step 03

    Observation and baseline

In the first days, the system learns how the equipment behaves and checks data quality. Initial observation usually takes 2 to 5 days. At this stage EnergyAI Ops gives no final diagnosis - it builds an initial baseline, a model of normal equipment behaviour.

    • the site's operating mode
    • data quality and completeness
    • seasonality
    • number of operating cycles
    • emergency and rare modes

Model maturity depends on these factors.

  4. Step 04

    Detect deviations

The platform compares current readings with the normal mode and flags unusual changes.

    • rising energy use
    • phase imbalance
    • falling power factor
    • unstable operation
    • running outside the schedule
    • changes after a repair
  5. Step 05

    Analyse the context

EnergyAI Ops does not treat every signal as a failure. It checks the context - which cuts useless alerts and makes recommendations better grounded.

    • production schedule
    • temperature and weather
    • load changes
    • recent maintenance and switching
    • neighbouring equipment
    • history of similar events
  6. Step 06

    Engineer confirmation

The engineer remains the decision owner. Feedback is stored and refines models, rules and baselines.

    • normal mode
    • needs observation
    • needs inspection
    • technical action required
    • false alarm
    • confirmed fault
  7. Step 07

    Verify the result

After maintenance, EnergyAI Ops compares readings before and after the work. Maintenance becomes a closed, verifiable loop.

    • did the deviation disappear
    • did the reading return to normal
    • did energy use change
    • does the problem persist
    • is another check needed

An anomaly is a signal plus context A spike on a chart is not a failure. Press “Check the context” and see what the system finds out before it calls an engineer.

What makes EnergyAI Ops different

Vendor-neutral

Not tied to one equipment manufacturer or automation system.

Brownfield-first

Built for operating sites that already have meters, sensors and dispatch systems.

Engineering context

Takes documentation, equipment history, maintenance and staff decisions into account - not just time series.

Human-in-the-loop

AI helps analyse data, but critical conclusions and actions are confirmed by an engineer.

Before-and-after checks

Links a deviation to the work done and lets you verify the result against data.

Gradual learning

Models and rules improve as history and specialist confirmations accumulate.

Potential economic effect

The actual economic effect can only be determined by a pilot project and depends on the site, data quality, equipment and evaluation criteria. EnergyAI Ops makes no upfront claims of validated savings or forecasting accuracy.

  • faster root-cause search
  • shorter diagnosis time
  • fewer unjustified alarms
  • equipment control after repairs
  • detection of inefficient modes
  • retained engineering knowledge
  • better-grounded maintenance planning
  • lower risk of downtime and repeat faults

Current stage: concept and prototype

Current work:

  • connecting real data sources
  • validating the digital passport model
  • testing deviation-detection logic
  • setting up engineering validation
  • defining economic-effect criteria
  • preparing pilot deployments

Let's turn your site's data into a measurable engineering result

A pilot needs:

  • one selected site
  • available telemetry history
  • an equipment description
  • technical documentation
  • an engineer on the client side
  • agreed performance criteria

During the pilot, we will define together:

  1. what data is available
  2. which equipment is the priority
  3. which deviations to track
  4. how engineer confirmation will work
  5. how to measure the result
  6. which platform capabilities to develop next

We are looking for industrial sites, technology partners and engineering teams to test EnergyAI Ops on real data together.
