Glif just opened a modeling agency with zero real humans
Pick an AI model from hundreds of characters, drop a product or brief into the chat, and Glif shoots the whole ad with the same face in every frame.

Modeling agencies have always run on castings, makeup rooms and location shoots. Glif decided all of that fits into a single chat window. On Friday evening the company launched what it calls the first AI modeling agency, right inside its app.
Here is how it works: you pick a face from a catalog of several hundred generated characters, drop a product photo, an idea or a full brief into the chat, and the Glif agent builds the ad end to end. In the launch video these models pose in a studio, sit on a yellow cart in the desert and sell products well enough that telling them apart from real people takes effort.
Every character has a profile like at a real agency: casting age, height, look and languages, plus front, three-quarter, profile and over-the-shoulder shots. The trick is that the face doesn't drift. Glif hands the image or video model a reference sheet, so the same person stays the same across a photo series, a storyboard or a whole campaign. For video the references are prepared for Seedance 2.5, so faces hold up even when the character moves and talks to camera.
You can cast several models in one message and add a style to keep the whole campaign consistent. Since late October you can also create your own character from a single uploaded photo.
Glif itself is one AI agent that picks from more than a hundred tools for images, video and audio. This spring it raised a 17.5 million dollar seed round led by a16z and USV, and now it is going straight after ad shoots. You can try it today at glif.app.
Verdict: photographers and makeup artists should start worrying, casting now takes one click.
