Chinese AI takes over Blender: Kimi builds 3D models and games from one line
Moonshot AI launched 3D Make: Kimi turns a description or sketch into 3D models, scenes, browser games and print-ready files, and in Kimi Work it drives Blender and game engines.

Moonshot AI added a feature called 3D Make to its Kimi assistant yesterday, October 30. You describe what you want in plain words and Kimi builds a 3D model, a scene or a small game. You can also upload a sketch or a reference picture and the AI turns it into a 3D object.
There are three modes. One makes interactive 3D websites and browser games you can preview right away and share with a link. Another generates detailed models from a description that you can spin around and edit in the chat. The third prepares a print-ready file: download it, drop it into your slicer and print.
The fun part is in Kimi Work, the desktop version of the assistant. There Kimi hooks into software already installed on your computer: Blender, CAD tools and game engines. Moonshot says it adapted the AI to Unreal Engine, Unity and Godot, so it can import models into the engine, lay out a scene and build up the gameplay step by step. It all runs on Kimi K3.1 Pro, a model the company trained specifically to work with 3D tools.
You can try it now on kimi.com and in the Kimi app, and it uses the regular subscription quota. Complex projects take a few minutes to generate. Nobody has tested it independently yet, so the big talk about AAA-looking games is worth checking yourself.
Bottom line: 3D artists don't need to panic yet, but building a game prototype or a printable part without a single Blender lesson is now a real option.
