They turned a Xiaomi into an iPhone: iOS 17 boots on Redmi
A developer booted iOS 17 on a Redmi K90 Pro Max. 120 Hz display, GPU and USB work; cameras and cellular still do not.

Someone got iOS 17 running on a Xiaomi Redmi K90 Pro Max. Developer JiangLingXiaCao says the system reaches the home screen, touch works, and the display outputs at 120 Hz.
GPU rendering, multi-core CPU scheduling and USB data are already adapted. This is not an emulator screenshot from last year: Chinese outlets ITHome and iXBT reported it today, October 29.
Next up is open-sourcing the work through the UniXNU repo, then Wi-Fi, brightness control and IPA sideloading. A private server stack is on the wishlist if resources allow.
It is nowhere near a daily driver. Cameras, power and volume buttons, cellular baseband and speakers still fail without drivers. For now it is a lab build in a Redmi shell. The point that landed is simpler: Apple's OS is booting on a current Xiaomi flagship, and it already breathes.
