ChatGPT now writes your emails and moves your meetings in iCloud
OpenAI released iCloud Mail and iCloud Calendar plugins for every ChatGPT plan, free included.

OpenAI has added two new plugins to ChatGPT: iCloud Mail and iCloud Calendar. The bot can now work with Apple's mail and calendar the same way it already works with Gmail and Google Calendar. The plugins are available on every plan, including free, on the web, the Mac app and iOS.
With Mail, ChatGPT can search and read messages, catch you up on your inbox, manage drafts and send email. With Calendar, it can read events, schedule new ones and move existing ones. These are the same events you see in the Calendar app on your iPhone. Both plugins also include read-only lookup of iCloud contacts; standalone Contacts and Reminders plugins are not part of this launch.
You don't use your regular Apple password. Each plugin is connected separately in ChatGPT settings under Plugins, and each needs an app-specific password created in your Apple account. Mail takes an @icloud.com, @me.com or @mac.com address, Calendar takes your primary Apple Account email. Disconnecting a plugin in ChatGPT does not revoke that password at Apple, so you have to do that yourself.
One catch: ChatGPT only sees iCloud mail. Gmail or Outlook accounts added to the Mail app on your iPhone stay out of reach through this plugin. Pro subscribers also get the plugins inside Dots, OpenAI's proactive agent that keeps track of things on its own.
iPhone owners have been asking for this for a long time. Siri is still learning, and ChatGPT is already reading their mail.
