Claude Opus 5.5 made a one-minute 3D cartoon from a single prompt

Developer Leon Lin gave the model one request, and in 12 hours it built the scenes, renderer and sound for a short about the Claude mascot.

Developer Leon Lin posted a one-minute 3D cartoon about Clawd, the Claude mascot, on X, and says Claude Opus 5.5 built the whole thing from a single prompt. The model ran in Ultracode mode for about 12 hours: it made the 3D scenes, wrote its own renderer for them and picked the sound.

Lin later shared the full prompt, and the requirements are strict. No text or fonts, only animation, and a real video rather than motion graphics. Scenes had to be original, clean and detailed: inspiration was fine, copying was not. No sound made in code, only free professional sound assets found online. The last line reads: "don't create slop, I want to see art and creativity".

A year ago a request like this ended with a few spinning cubes. Here the result is a coherent minute of story with its own lighting, camera work and sound, and a human barely touched it. Twelve hours is a lot, but the direction is clear: an agent can now take on a small production by itself.
